Paris Knoedler Back to French Reproductions  Paris Knoedler, French, 18th century. 4 1/4" wide, warm antique 22K gold leaf over red, hand carved. This frame model was first commissioned by the Knoedler Gallery in the 1950s. Its straight-edged design is effective in enhancing both portrait and landscape paintings from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
